Bombs Away!

By Dig Staff

DigThis08_IntroLG

"These are the weekly voyages of the good barship Dig. Its 10-year mission: to explore strange new mini-worlds, to seek out new experiences and new snivilizations, to boldly go where no rag has gone before!"

Before Obama gets to it, here's your stimulus package. We've never been one to trumpet our advertisers in place of honest editorial content [AhemEd.], but this issue's a keeper. Not only do you have a complete compendium of your own thumbs-up to spots and spaces, but this time, we editor-types have chimed in with a batch of original endorsements that are worth tracking down, one by sincerely picked one. Each section is an airdrop from the good ship Dig, circling the metropolis under civil radar, bringing boxes of joy to readers everywhere. It's like The Santa Clause, but we've clubbed Tim Allen and stowed him in our sack. We've not-so-cleverly divided it into five thumbable sections, sprinkled with our own check-this-out bunches. So as we plops these crates of love into your grubby mitts, feel free to use it like a guide to spending money.

Hey, they didn't call it the Enterprise for nothing.

The Middle East is a great venue when it's kind of full--but it can be a mess when it's completely sold out.
