Bring your furry friends

Oh, yeah—dogs allowed, too

Rocca

The gardens are lush and the umbrellas are yellow at this off-the-main-drag enclave. Strike when the sangria bianca's ice-cold, defending your meatball sliders and braised artichokes from the stares of a curious pooch.

The Dish

Dogs, sloppily great and perkily small, are a familiar fixture within the sidewalk seating. Watch them get playfully tangled in leashes as you help yourself to another slice of wood-oven pizza ... and more wine, if you don't mind.

Cambridge Brewing Company

The hallowed birthplace of craft brews including Cambridge Amber and Cerise Cassée, CBC's the spot to rest your dogs and, well, your dogs. Pair a pint with Meyer Farm's naturally raised grilled steak, and don't be surprised if your fingers get licked when slipping a bite down below.

Sel de la Terre

For pups who get a thrill at the sleepy seals outside the New England Aquarium, the sidewalk at Sel de la Terre offers a waterfront respite for diners (of all shapes and sizes) in the mood for petit goûter or vanilla crème brûlée.

The Red House

Harvard Square's accessible, yet secluded, patio welcomes "small, well-behaved" dogs and, we're assuming, good behavior from all present. Though the house pâté might induce wild behavior, it'll be nothing compared to when Charlie's Kitchen outdoor beer garden opens next door.
