Why is everyone a slut? and other general rants of mine :)

Can someone explain to me why everyone in America is a slut now a days? Listen... I love America, I love everything that this country stands for.. everyone thing that it once was, but really can't anyone else see that everyone in America is just using to get ahead. And, not necessarily drugs, or sex but mostly drugs and sex. Think about this Ladies, how many of you wore a low cut blouse, or didn't wear a low cut blouse.. if you did, or didn't its the same thing. You DID, because you knew you'd get the attention... or you DIDN'T ... because you knew that you would get attention. Nothing can be explained in a simple straight manner anymore because if you say it straight then how are people going to twist your words later?

Today I was watching the History Channel on cable and it was talking about the crucifixion of Christ and it was saying that although the scriptures tells us that Christ was crucified, it doesn't give details of the crucifixion.... we'll DUH, God works in mysterious ways, do you really think that he's going to tell us everything? Do you think that he will say blow for blow all the suffering that Jesus did for us? Is it not good enough to just accept the fact that Jesus died for us? I mean really people do you have to understand everything to have a belief? Or can you just accept something, believe in something without question, without reason, without further knowledge of where this belief will take you and just jump in.

If I get really crazy I could go on to offend all those other religions, not because I want to but because people are sensitive about the wrong things now. People can watch horrors like "Saving Private Ryan" everyday on the TV, or Law and Order.. but if I, a peon were to say a bold statement like...

"It doesn't matter what you call the God, Goddess, Supreme Being, Allah, Buddha, Jehovah... all that matters is that Humans believe...they are all the same person in the end”

Who knows what kind of hate mail or hurrah mail I’ll receive.. who knows if anyone actually reads this stuff.. I personally don’t care if you like what I have to say or not, because I am a peon and I am temporarily happy with my status, I am not trying to sell myself to anyone, I do not have anything to gain out of writing this other then a few more thoughts of mine that I will never actually be able to forget because it’ll be stored forever on the WWW.

Now, back to the sluts thing... okay so everyone in America is trying to sell you something, or make you think that you need this new and improved because the old and out dated whatever isn’t good enough. When really what we’re saying is that we need to make that house/car/child care payment and we need your money to do just that. Working for insurance for a couple years I have learned that although cunningly worded.. they don’t actually just say something to the consumer. Like, my friend used all the dental insurance for the year. Doesn’t everyone in America that has dental insurance get two annual cleanings per year, isn’t that just common sense and isn’t that what the insurance companies are trying to promote? That they are trying to do preventive care because in the end it’s cheaper then someone dying a long, painful death. So this friend... let’s say Bob, has a bunch of dental work done in in the beginning of the year. The dentist charges the insurance company then this friend, Bob gets the friendly card in the mail from the dentist, “Remember to get your TEETH CLEANED” When, Bob, goes to make the appointment the dentist office kindly tells him that he has no further benefits for the year, sorry you’ll have to pay.... so Bob being the nice person says i’ll just call the insurance company and they’ll help me. But, the insurance company can not help Bob, not with this matter... he doesn’t have the benefit, that is their plain wording. This is true, I didn’t believe it myself. ...

So, the point of my story and rants is that everyone is trying to be/ think of the next big thing... instead of always focusing on the future why don’t you sit down with your family, friends.. hell grab a stranger off the street and instead of saying to them “Hey, you want to buy.. blablabla...” buy them a cup of coffee.. if your a family, make a meal together. Stop always looking to the future because you never know when tomorrow will not be there.. and all you’ll have are these moments right now.
Stop selling yourself on the street corner, and learn to be comfortable in your own skin. Who cares if corporate America wants you or wants to buy what you have? Spread nonsense like a plague... smile at a stranger... hell wake up tomorrow and say “Thank God, I am still breathing” Jump out of bed, make your co-workers ask if you got some nookie last night, or if you made the coffee to strong this morning. And, as I always say...
“Smile at the world, the Goldfish will always smile back”
