thebuynsell.com

By thebuynsell on Mon, Jan 28, 2008 8:01 pm

I created thebuynsell.com to give people another alternative to ebay. I used to sell on ebay, but most of my profits were going to ebay at the end of the month. I said enough was enough, i was going to try and do it better. That is how i came to create thebuynsell.com. It helped that my cousin had his own webhosting site and set everything up for me, and helps out with any technical problems. Hopefully, someday soon i will be able to buy my own servers. Atleast that is my goal. Thebuynsell has been up and running for around five months now and traffic is great. New members are signing up regularly and listing items for sale. I always welcome feedback about my site, in fact i encourage it. It really is the only way for me to find out what my members want at the moment. Perhapse one day i will also be able to purchase a forecast or a whole bunch of consumer research data, lol. For now i have to rely on my members and visitors to let me know what they like, don't like, and would like to see on thebuynsell.com. I have been advertising all over the place on the internet and locally. I am doing whatever i can to get the word out. So, if you are reading this i would encourage you to visit thebuynsell.com and give it a try. If you like what services we have to offer than please, tell a friend. The better thebuynsell does the better service i can provide for my members. Without them i don't have a business. www.thebuynsell.com

If you have any questions i can be reached at sales@thebuynsell.com

Attention Artists! Stop the Orphan Act!

By weeklydig on Mon, May 5, 2008 12:23 pm

Two bills were submitted to congress at the end of April — one to the House and one to the Senate — called the Orphan Works Act of 2008. Congress is looking to have this act passed and signed into law by George Bush by June 8, 2008, less than two months after it was introduced.

In a nutshell, this act may put many of you creative people in a tight spot when it comes to copyrighting your images and jeopardize long term royalties.
