Medieval Manor

This place looks really fun!

Fool around during dinner at the Medieval Manor. Awaiting you is a bawdy extravaganza often imitated but never equaled. In this recently updated rollicking romp through the middle ages, the minstrel, jester, oaf and wenches respond to the Lord of the Manor’s every whim with song, story and slapstick while sweeping you up in the fun. As spirits flow and Canterbury beckons, laughter and camaraderie will soon reveal why so many return so often for such foolishness. As guests of the King, you’re also offered a six course banquet eaten without fork, knife or spoon. It begins with warm loaves of bread, pepper cheese trenchers and faux Dragon soup. Mixed shellfish, beef ribs and salad precede the final course, roasted herbed chicken with steamed vegetables. There are plenty of napkins to keep fingers dry and tidy.

We still use the finest ingredients, and bake and prepare all our delicacies by hand. The store is our way of honoring her. Our way of keeping alive the sprit and joy Pearl gave so unconditionally to everyone she met. A place where everyone is welcome. Where magic happens. And where the lights are always on.

Attention Artists! Stop the Orphan Act!

By weeklydig on Mon, May 5, 2008 12:23 pm

Two bills were submitted to congress at the end of April — one to the House and one to the Senate — called the Orphan Works Act of 2008. Congress is looking to have this act passed and signed into law by George Bush by June 8, 2008, less than two months after it was introduced.

In a nutshell, this act may put many of you creative people in a tight spot when it comes to copyrighting your images and jeopardize long term royalties.
