I Made it Fine

By Zotnix on Fri, Apr 25, 2008 10:59 am

Wow,what can I say.

It was very weird to see Tron Guy for the first time. He has his own camera crew! Also apparently someone wants to meet me. I have to be honest I'm not used to this sort of thing.

So far it looks like there are about 20 meme celebrities hanging out. Moot is real. Cheez is pretty cool. The coordinator of the memes is really friendly.

After my panel I'll put up some pictures that I have. We had a little entourage through the streets of Cambridge and I have to say it was cool seeing all of us there.

Peace out for now.

Liveblogging from ROFLCon

By Zotnix on Wed, Apr 23, 2008 2:49 pm

ROFLCon is seriously going to be awesome. Srsly.

Just giving a quick heads up that I'll be liveblogging here for ROFLCon. I'll try and get pictures and all the other good stuff I can. I honestly can say I'm very excited to be there.

To be honest, I'm scared of what Mozilla will be doing there. One can only guess.

On another note I'll be posting quick updates here at twitter which will show up here as well.

See you guys there!

Attention Artists! Stop the Orphan Act!

By weeklydig on Mon, May 5, 2008 12:23 pm

Two bills were submitted to congress at the end of April — one to the House and one to the Senate — called the Orphan Works Act of 2008. Congress is looking to have this act passed and signed into law by George Bush by June 8, 2008, less than two months after it was introduced.

In a nutshell, this act may put many of you creative people in a tight spot when it comes to copyrighting your images and jeopardize long term royalties.
