By Jimmy Carris on Tue, Feb 19, 2008 7:48 am

It was 20th November 2007 when Lora Martins came to India to get a complete body makeover through a cosmetic surgery procedure. This patient from U.K had a complicated case and the refered cosmetic surgeon had to complete the task very carefully. We talked to the surgeon as well Lora Martins and both were happy and feeling contented after the completion of body make over cosmetic surgery schedule that was done continously for 24 days in India. Lora’s cosmetic surgeon said “ Such cases rarely come to us in which a patient has to be given 3-4 cosmetic surgery procedures, but if such cases come then we have to do the assigned task with great care as precautions prescribed for each cosmetic surgery procedure has to be followed simultaneously. Lora’s case was also such one whom we provided seven cosmetic surgery procedures simultaneously one by one. This lady of 41 years told us that she wanted to get a complete improvement in her looks, she wanted a fine tummy, fat free slim body, good thighs, a fresh wrinkle free face with a beautiful nose, and firm breasts with a good shape. It seemed that she wanted to recover her complete youth that had gone some years before.Thank God ! we were able to fulfil her expectations by providing her a complete body make over cosmetic surgery package that consisted the cosmetic procedures tummy tuck, liposuction, thigh lift, rhinoplasty, facelift and breast lift cum implant surgery. Now after 24 days we are seeing excellent results expected by Lora and ourselves. We are happy that we succeeded and Lora is also contented as she has got the desired results”.

On meeting Lora Martins, who was still in the patients cabin after completion of a complete body make over cosmetic surgery procedure she answered to us in a very contented voice and happy frame of mind “ I looked gorgeous and beautiful in my youth, My parents, and my husband Jimmy was really proud of it however I got a terrible car accident during our stay in Glasgow three years before, my right leg and neck underwent a horrible fracture, my nose also was damaged  and I was on the bed for one year and 8 months. Before the accident I used to do exercise, I was balanced and strict in diet but after lying on the bed for more than a year I don’t know what happened to me I lost concentration from my previous routine, so obesity, wrinkles on face, big tummy, loose and sagged skin was seen to become a part of my life and it was really unpleasant to me. In U.K I went to a cosmetic surgeon and he told me that my case was not an easy one it would take some time for completion and his schedules were already packed  and above all the cost price of the surgery was too much and it was obvious of an expensive treatment as I needed more than one cosmetic surgery procedure. I didn’t know what to do ? and where to go? But good heavens helped me and I got the address of Tour2india4health on the internet and the medical tourism company presented my case to the cosmetic surgeons in India and I got the reference of one of them who was operating me continiously for 24 days. The price charged from me was forty percent less of the amount that was told to me by the cosmetic surgeon in U.K so I saved a considerable amount of money by coming to India, my travel and stay in India was a comfortable one as the medical tourism company, the Indian cosmetic surgeon and his medical staff was very cooperative at each step. Initial twelve days of my surgery in India were smooth and trouble free during the procedure of tummy tuck, liposuction and thigh lift surgery. However I faced some complications during facelift, rhinoplasty and breast lift cum implants as they were done simultaneously after each other and each surgery demanded strict post operation precautions but the my Indian surgeon deserves appreciation as he displayed his wonderful skill, dexterity and patience during the complete procedure. Now I am happy and satisfied with the results. I feel my lost youth to be revived as if I have come back to my twentiesJ.”

Attention Artists! Stop the Orphan Act!

By weeklydig on Mon, May 5, 2008 12:23 pm

Two bills were submitted to congress at the end of April — one to the House and one to the Senate — called the Orphan Works Act of 2008. Congress is looking to have this act passed and signed into law by George Bush by June 8, 2008, less than two months after it was introduced.

In a nutshell, this act may put many of you creative people in a tight spot when it comes to copyrighting your images and jeopardize long term royalties.
