THE HILLS - THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON

By CARRIGAN DENNY-BROWN

DVD_Hills3

If I don't get it, does that make me stupid? After endlessly, ceaselessly, unquittingly rehashing and hashing and hashbrowning and corned-beef-hashing Lauren's obviously staged split with her best friend Heidi, the subplots of this televisual trepanation suck you under like a cartoon vacuum. And when they aren't reciting the same plotlines over and over like so many parrots, we get ageless reams of poetry. "You gotta do the ... uh ... rice with the fork," Justin advises Audrina as they eat Chinese food. Or, Justin on relationships: "It's like when you make—when you put statements ... you'll be gone." Wow. "Like," he continues, "I don't like that." According to the Nielsen ratings, three million people watch this show each week. It's like wrestling, Jerry Springer and Guiding Light all at the same time—plenty of words are exchanged, but no information is transmitted. God save us all.

We assumed this had something to do with Dick Cheney's political whopper and pressure to not to claim the recession started with Bush.

Actual Citibank Term Sheet

From Dealbreaker, what is reportedly the actual term sheet for the Citibank bailout.

FWIW, to my reading we're kinda screwing them, which is A-OK in my book
