By DAVID DAY

ShiftMob. What the fuck is that?

Ian: It really was a mob scene. Wall-to-wall people. You couldn't walk or talk without making a new friend. Every seat was taken.

Rimi: I heard about it through the Facebook posting and through friends that support local businesses.

What did you buy?

Rimi: I didn't buy anything, actually.

Rimi, that's the whole point!

Ian: I bought a sandwich and an Arnold Palmer.

I bought some toilet paper.

Ian: I support the 10-percent shift movement.

It's an idea that is inevitable all over the world.

Ian: And you help the environment.

Does this mean we can't get coconuts anymore?

Ian: That's a question I struggle with every day. I really do.

We're in Boston, we should not want for pineapples!

Ian: I don't want to give up pineapples!

Rimi: Bananas give me stomachaches.
